Living the Vision

Whether you lead a Fortune 500 company, a small non-profit, a major university, or a local K–12 school district, there’s a profound difference between having a vision and living into it.

Without recognizing this difference, many professionals and organizations arrive at a crossroads. They can either:

  • commit fully to transformational change,

  • settle for “peace and pay,” or

  • watch their organization slowly lose vitality and purpose.

At K/VAL Consulting & Life Architects, we make that first path—the path of true transformation—real and achievable.

We partner with leaders and teams to assess, plan, and implement meaningful organizational change by developing the internal capacity of both leaders and staff. Through continuous improvement cycles, evidence-based coaching, and tailored professional development, we help you strengthen the leadership practices and cultural foundations that sustain high-performing, thriving organizations.

For individuals and teams seeking deeper alignment and purpose, K/VAL also offers evocative transformational coaching through the DreamBuilder System—a proven framework that empowers people to design and live from their dreams with clarity, confidence, and joy.

At the heart of all our work are the four key values that drive effective personal and organizational transformation: Empower. Connect. Grow. Lead.

Our intention is simple yet powerful: to help every person and organization we serve move closer to wellbeing, resilience, and sustainable success—by committing to continuous improvement and living from abundance, connection, and growth.

K/VAL is your partner in bringing your vision to life.

Let’s begin the journey together.

About me

My name is Kim Garrison.

I am a teacher, leader, coach, and researcher dedicated to building systems of wellbeing—within organizations and within life itself. For over two decades, I’ve worked at the intersection of education, leadership, and behavioral health, helping people and teams grow in ways that create healthier, more supportive communities.

Currently, I serve as the Behavioral Health Coordinator for Martha’s Vineyard Public Schools and as the Principal Consultant and Coach for K/VAL Consulting & Life Architects. In both roles, I bring a balance of strategy, empathy, and evidence-based practice to guide individuals and organizations toward sustainable growth and genuine fulfillment.

As a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Rochester, my research focuses on organizational climate, collaboration, and personal wellbeing—exploring how people and systems thrive together.

I am certified in multiple models that strengthen this work, including:

  • DreamBuilder Coach, Life Solutions, LLC

  • Continuous Improvement Facilitator, Carnegie Foundation

  • Effectiveness Training Model Trainer, Gordon Training International

At my core, I believe transformation begins with awareness, expands through connection, and sustains through action. Whether I’m coaching a leader, facilitating a team, or supporting an entire district, my mission is to help others live from their vision—not just for success, but for wholeness.

I’m curious what brought you here and what vision you’re ready to bring to life?

Let’s begin the conversation.

"pay and peace = people maintain the status quo, do not discuss the challenges in the organization, and don’t make any trouble.

slow death = the rejection of deep transformation of an organization."
